New beginnings, new blog and a new job!
Remember when I said that it was time to move on? Indeed it is!
In times of big decisions and transitions like what I have been going through; you get to know who your real friends are, you get to evaluate what you have done and prepare yourself for the next phase of development and prosperity.
We all have heard the saying that when God closes a door; He opens a window and open He did. Sometimes you dwell over past experiences and say that you will never have a better opportunity or you will never meet a better person, but the truth is that the better is always yet to come and God prepares us in His own way to claim what is meant and planned for us.
Today I had a nice and learning experience after which I realized that God is the best planner and He does and gives things all in due time. I was a part of a full day workshop for a company that was interviewing me and another three nice young professional men. We were given a descriptive thorough presentation about the company and its business field and then we were given a long test to focus on our comprehension and understanding of what was discussed. Also to get a deeper perspective on our past experience.
It was a long test but enjoyable. I answered all the questions with passion and deep desire to be the chosen one after the session ends. After we finished; I left the location and came straight home. I was chatting with a friend of mine and was telling him how things were going with me and his response was; I am sure it will come sooner than you think.
About an hour later; I get a call from the GM of the company informing me that they would be happy and excited for me joining their team and when can I start, to which I immediately answered: tomorrow.
You don’t understand the sequence of events until they have taken place already. Today only; I understood the sequence of events that happened to me recently. I just had to be miserable at my previous job; things leading to the business relationship ending and not nicely; this led to my friend passing me this job announcement which he got directly from the company. I applied and got phone interviewed the second day; and that was like 10 days ago. The delay was because the GM wanted to come to Amman to do the personal interviews and that was today.
I had to go through all this process to reach the point I am at right now; freshly hired with an international company as the MENA Country Coordinator. The special thing about this position is that it combines all aspects of my past experience along with a nice learning curve that I have to go through. This is the best combination you can get at a job; where you can teach and learn; it is not that satisfying to keep teaching without learning or the opposite scenario; to be content and satisfied in your position; there has to be a balance between learning and teaching.
So the good news is that I am now the new MENA Country Coordinator for the Largest International IPTV Provider; for more information about my new employer, please click here.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the REAL friends that were and still are there for me; I will never ever forget this and I will hold it in my heart forever. I promise that I will do my very best to be there for you and help you as much as I possibly can because after all; that’s what friends are for.
What better news and incidents to share with all my friends and readers on this blog??? Bless you all
