Ladies’ Cookie Decorating Party
So today was the day!
Rebecca has kindly invited us to her house to share the joy of decorating cookies which I found to be quite amusing and therapeutic.
At the end of a long working day; there isn’t anything better than meeting with people you like and share some nice time and have lots of fun.
I was the first to arrive, so I got a chance to take a few pictures of the preparations that Rebecca has made for us; she has made us cookies to decorate and others to eat; there were several munchies including different kinds of cheese and meat balls in a very hot cranberry chili sauce. She also made coffee, tea and a beverage of hot apple juice with cinnamon, and how can I forget the nachos with the hot sauce? That alone was a party kicker 
So after Kinzi and her sweet daughter Lindsay arrived, Shaden almost lost her way to Rebecca’s house and then Wedad came, so we headed towards the tables and started decorating. Salam brought her sweet kids Raya and Zeid who really had fun playing with the colors. Mommabean came alone after she tucked the kids for the evening and Roba was the last to arrive.
I took so many pictures and I will let them tell you the story of this great evening. Wedad and Shaden made a cookie to represent 7ala and wanted to let her know that she was missed in this event which is really true,

Yes, a very fun evening!!! Yes, just the snacks Rebecca served us would have been a party in itself!!Thanks for being such an avid participant in one of my favorite Christmas traditions.

It was great.Raya and zaid loved it there and as soon as we left told me they want to come back again.Although I doubt we are welcome aain at Rebecca’s after all the mess zaid made.Thanks for the invitation Rebecca,and khalida for the post and pictures.Hey Khalida,pls email the picture u took of me and zaido..thanks.

Nice pictures and nice gathering amongst nice people.What attracted my attention though is seeing Shaden smiling, for as many years that I have been reading for her (more than 3 years)she seems to be always mad at something : Initially she was mad at her parents, then she was mad at other members on the discussion board, then she was mad at those who don’t address the Palestinian plight in an appropriate way, then she was mad at her job after graduation, more recently she was mad at the traffic jam in Amman. Even the recent pictures taken from recent Jordan Planet gatherings never show her smiling, until of course last night. Wowwwwwwww ;It is terrific to see you smiling Shaden.

[...] Rebecca’s cookies party was really awesome, and I can’t thank her enough for inviting me. I had fun decorating cookies. I’ve never done that before, and I didn’t think I’d have such a great time playing with the colored stuffing and the different shapes of cookies (see pictures above). I felt like I’m 5 again. Everything was just perfect, meat balls, nachos, chocolate balls, coconut cookies, the hot drink that tasted of apple juice and cinnamon (sorry forgot it’s name) and even the black coffee I had just before I left. Thanks for the snaps! It was amazing fun and we’re so blessed to have Rebecca who is the perfect hostess. We’ll have to do the Jordan planet kids’ party soon at my house (as long as no one expects Rebecca’s level of hostessing). Great pictures!
