I guess that we have all either heard of or watched the movie “How to lose a guy in 10 days”. I have to say that this was one of the movies that I really enjoyed and I could watch it over and over without getting bored.

Basically; it is a bet where the star wants to prove to her friends that she can lose a guy in 10 days just by doing all the girly things that we tend to do when we are emotionally involved. I guess we all know what these little annoying things are, calling too much, being over possessive and trying to keep him away from his friends, and the most important annoying thing is that we have high hopes and start building on them which puts stress and pressure on the poor guy!

They never see these as signs of love and affection; rather they feel that they are like restraints and tactics a woman performs to limit their freedom and tricks them into marriage, therefore; they run away

If you perform all these things in a short time like the star of the movie did; the inevitable result would be that you will lose the guy and maybe forever, not like the actor who got back to her and understood that all these things are signs of affection

We have heard it many times; that men go after the woman who ignores them and ignore the one who shows affection. Maybe this is true or let’s says that so far; it is proving to be valid and true, which makes dealing with men a very difficult confusing task, and if you ask them directly what they want, more often than not; they will not even have an answer because they themselves have no idea.

It takes a second of hesitation on the man’s side to lose a woman that might have been the woman of his dreams, and the sad thing is that they don’t even realize it until it is too late and there is no way back, so this gets me really confused because it seems that the best way to keep a guy is ignoring him … very funny ha?

P.S. This was a crazy thought resulting from watching too many unnecessary Arabic series and listening to friends venting!!
